Terms of Service

Ordering Procedure:

We open sales for the month online through our socials. The first 8 customers that opt in are sent a $200 holding deposit invoice to secure their portion. We then close sales for that months run. Any overflow of orders are waitlisted for the following run. Those customers are sent a holding deposit invoice and we keep you updated on delivery dates once the next months run has fully sold. Prior to us sending the invoices, we ask you for your full name for invoicing, your phone number, your email address and your delivery address.

When holding deposits for the current run have been paid and the delivery date has been confirmed and advised (it will be on a Saturday) we then send our beast to slaughter. Once the beast has been processed and we have box content weights, we send you your final invoice the afternoon/night before delivery which must be paid in full before delivery. The invoice will be for the exact weight you receive by our flat rate plus a $10 delivery charge less your holding deposit.

We cant say how long it will take to sell, but we send our beast on the live transport truck to the Abattoir on a Wednesday afternoon, it is slaughtered the next morning, it then hangs in cold storage for 14 days, it is then butchered and boxed by our Butcher and delivered to you by us. All processes are undertaken by the relevant licensed and accredited service providers. Not on-site farm Butchery.

Once Dave arrives at your place with your portion, he will have a selection of wine, honey, rubs, preserves & Merch available for purchase and is happy to have a chat, ask questions and offer suggestions on how to cook any certain cut if you aren’t quite familiar with it, like the bone marrow. Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the nature of our business, specifically killing our animal for your order, we do not offer refunds. If you are unable to be present for your prearranged delivery, we will not leave your portion unattended. We can leave it with your neighbour with written consent by text or email, or we will keep it at our farm for you to collect within 48 hours. After that, it will be placed in our deep freeze and charges will apply for its storage for up to 1 week. After that, without prior arrangement or if we cannot contact you, your portion along with your deposit is forfeited back to us with the assumption of change of mind. We will not roll your deposit over for future sales and reserve the right to refuse your business.

If you have paid your holding deposit and then cannot commit to the delivery for whatever reason, we will roll your deposit over to the next months run or a run that suits you.

Privacy Policy

We ask for your personal details for the purpose of contact and billing for your order only. This information is stored in our accounting software and is never shared. We may contact you by phone or email weeks after your purchase as a courtesy to see how you are enjoying our product, and we may contact you by phone or email months after your purchase to ask if you would like to reorder.
