Kalbar Show 2021

So after our win at the Boonah Show the month prior, we decided we were all in at Kalbar!

Our exhibits this time, comprised of passionfruit, shallots, red papaya and cherry tomatoes in the open section, and the kids each presented their offering of passionfruit in the juniors. We also submitted navel oranges.

I took out first place for our beloved passionfruit and the kids took out first, second and third for theirs. The judges making note that they had not tasted such a deserving entry in all their time of judging. As they could not choose exactly where the kids placed, they all received a highly commended prize - a 5kg bag of organic fertilizer to keep them on their path. And it certainly has.

I also placed first for shallot. Second for red papaya and cherry tomato and our navel oranges received a highly commended but did not place.
